Robert and Shelby Howell - 19 Pound "Super Trout" Sunday 12/13/09

Robert is a good fisherman that fishes all the time. One of our Pro-Staff Lake
Guides named Pete, noticed that Robert was using a leader that was a little
long, based upon how most of the trout have been caught recently.
Pete recommended that Robert try shortening one of his leaders to about
8"and use 2 pound test with a small ball of Chartreuse and give that a try.

After Pete had made his way down the shoreline talking and helping
others out with some of the latest fishing tips, Pete came back to check on
Robert and Shelby and this beautiful 19 pound beast was caught on the pole
with the 2 pound 8" leader.  Needless to say, Robert was very happy he
took Pete's advise. You will find our Pro-Staff Lake Guides walking the
shoreline most every day, thanking you for fishing our lakes, and offering
any advise that might help you catch more fish. Good job Robert and Shelby,

This bad boy fell for a nightcrawler near the Dam. Nightcrawlers worked
very well over the weekend with all the rain, as it usually does. Good Job
Terry, that's a tremendous trout you caught. Now that you have a
20 pounder under your belt, you have the skill to land even bigger ones
and they are out there. Thanks for fishing Corona Lake !!
