22 POUND CATFISH caught at SARL
James Anderson of Duarte caught and released a 22 pound 8 ounce monster catfish using mackerel by the boat dock in the Big Lake. Jason Cho of Anaheim caught and released a 14 pound 8 ounce catfish using shrimp from a boat. Eli & Samuel Touache of Panorma City caught 8 catfish totaling 25 pounds 8 ounces, their largest cat weighed in at 8 pounds 8 ounces using night-crawlers at the Bubble Hole. Bill Wright of Anaheim caught 15 catfish totaling 35 pounds 8 ounces using mackerel in the Big Lake. Danny Martinez of Norco caught 4 catfish totaling 13 pounds 8 ounces, his largest 6 pounds 8 ounces using shrimp at La Palma point. Santa Ana River Lakes is open seven-days-a-week during catfish season. During the summer there is 24 hour fishing, no extra charge for overnight camping every Friday & Saturday night beginning at 5 pm. Angler weighs in a 16 & 15 pound catfish at Corona Lake
Hoang Mai of Corona caught a 16 pound 8 ounce & a 15 pound catfish using mackerel from a boat. Kellen Vagan & Asard Rivas of San Diego caught 7 catfish totaling 15 pounds 8 ounces using mackerel from a boat. Bill Hunt of Riverside caught 10 catfish totaling 31 pounds, his largest weighed in at 8 pounds using fresh shrimp scented with Lip Ripperz Love Saunce fishing from shore at JD’s point. Brent Sage of Temecula caught 5 catfish totaling 14 pounds 8 ounces using night-crawlers from shore at the Dam. Corona Lake is open seven-days-a-week during catfish season.
