SANTA ANA RIVERS LAKES KICKS OUT A 20+ POUND TROUT
THE LARGEST TROUT CAUGHT AT ANY LAKE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SO FAR THIS SEASON WAS CAUGHT AT SANTA ANA RIVER LAKES. George Tebelekian of L.A. caught a 20 pound 3 ounce Suuuperrr Trooout using a Trout King worm at the Pump House in the Big Lake. Reyes Canchola of Norwalk caught a 15 pound 6 ounce trout in the Kids Pond using a Thomas Buoyant lure. Tony Lopez of East L.A. caught a 14 pound 8 ounce trout using a orange PowerMouse tail setup fishing by the Pump House. Mike Veraer of W. Covina caught a 12 pound 8 ounce trout using a worm at the Bubble Hole. During trout season Santa Ana River Lakes will be closed every Thursday for Day & Night fishing for trout stockings.
