HUGE TROUT are still the norm here at Santa Ana River Lakes. David Halfacre of West Covina caught a 13 pound rainbow trout using a nightcrawler in Chris’ Pond.
Stephen Viquez of Whittier caught a 12 pound 8 ounce trout using chartreuse PowerBait fishing at La Palma point. Robby Thomas of Anaheim caught a 12 pound trout using a yellow/white LGE Super Tube jig fishing near the Boat Dock in the Big Lake. John & Rick White of Tustin caught 10 trout totaling 21 pounds using orange/white Berkley mice tails fishing from a boat in the near the bubble hole.
ONCE IN A LIFETIME RECORD CATCH?
