Anaheim Lake is RE-OPENING on 7/13/12, for some GREAT Summertime Fishing and Weekend Camping!! The Lake is in the process for being filled with beautiful clean, clear Lake Matthews water. There are lots of great places to camp, many shady trees and lots of grass. Plus there are 3 islands that will be fun places to camp and fish from. Anaheim Lake is a fantastic Lake to fish. It was originally designed as a fishing lake when it was first developed with a lot of underwater structure, drop-offs, shelves, islands and roads. Additionally, the fish in Santa Ana River Lakes will be all seined by Imperial Catfish and transported to Anaheim and Corona Lake.
