DOUBLE DIGIT TROUT ON THE CHEW AT SARL
Jose Lamas of Simi Valley caught a 15 pound 12 ounce trout using a white LGE worm fishing at the Bubble Hole. Nong Chog of Corona caught a 15 pound 9 ounce using a yellow/white crappie jig in Chris’ Pond. 
Paul Hansen caught a 14 pound 8 ounce trout and then came back 3 days later and caught a 14 pound trout both times using PowerBait in Chris’ Pond. Ricardo Zepeda of Santa Ana caught a 12 pound 8 ounce trout using a Mijo minnow fishing at the Pump House. During trout season Santa Ana River Lakes will be closed every Thursday for Day & Night fishing for trout stockings. Andy Belflower of Lake Elsinore caught and released a 34 pound sturgeon using PowerBait at the Dam. Tony Araiza of Norco caught a 13 pound trout using PowerBait at the Dam. Nathan & Owen Delacruz of Lake Elsinore caught 16 trout totaling 38 pounds using worms from shore on the backside of the lake. Corona Lake will be closed every Wednesday & Thursday for Day & Night fishing.
