Russ Car of Canyon Lake caught a 19 pound 4 ounce trout19,17 & 16 POUND TROUT – TOP THE WEEK AT SARL
 

The biggest trout in California are consistently caught at Santa Ana River Lakes.  Russ Car of Canyon Lake caught a 19 pound 4 ounce trout using a orange jig at the Boat Dock.  Trac Nguyen of Lake Forest caught a 17 pound 8 ounce trout using chartreuse PowerBait fishing at La Palma point in the Big Lake.  Miles Crenshaw of Santa Ana caught a 16 pound 9 ounce trout using a nightcrawler fishing at the Boat Dock.Miles Crenshaw caught a 16 pound 9 ounce trout using a nightcrawler - sarl  Bill Wright of Norco & Joe Sacco of Glendora each caught a 12 pound 12 ounce trout both using a orange/white mice tail fishing in the Big Lake.
